A Citizen’s Review Board is looking at the conduct of several Wichita police officers in connection with a domestic violence case. The board met Thursday and held a two-hour closed-door discussion, looking at an investigation into the conduct of the officers.
Our news partners at KWCH report that the case concerns a domestic violence incident involving a Sedgwick County deputy. The deputy’s cell phone was taken and photos were discovered of several Wichita police officers involved in conduct described as “unbecoming of an officer.”
No details have been released. The Citizen’s Review Board looked at eight officer-disciplinary cases during their closed discussion Thursday, and they will continue the discussions at their next meeting.
