Volunteers are returning to Andover to help with cleanup work today and Wednesday.
To help out, you’ll need to check in at the United Methodist Church on Andover Road north of the Turnpike. Work over the next couple days runs from 9 am to 5 pm. Kids can help out, but they’ll need to be at least 10-years-old.
With hot weather this week, it’s especially important to keep people cool and hydrated as they work. The Salvation Army is asking for bottled water donations. Packages of bottled water can be dropped off at their downtown Wichita location, at 350 North Market, during normal business hours. Monetary donation can also be made online using the link below.
