Missouri prosecutors have filed charges against a Kansas City man for a fatal hit and run incident that killed a Wichita man who had attended a Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium.

A felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident was filed against 19-year-old Thomas Weyer.   He could face one to seven years in prison and a fine up to $10,000.

66-year-old Steven Hickle was hit by two hit-and-run drivers on October 10th as he was leaving Arrowhead Stadium.  The Chiefs game with the Buffalo Bills was not yet over so traffic crews were not yet stationed to direct cars out of the stadium area.

Weyer was arrested after Kansas City police received an anonymous tip in November.
