Wichita Public Library’s Local Author Day will return on Saturday, August 20th.
Local Author Day celebrates local writing talent and invites readers to learn about authors in Wichita. The event has was put on a 3-year hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
An author panel featuring authors Grant Snider, Dana McCall and Amanda Wen will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Then from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., an author expo will provide an opportunity for the public to meet Wichita authors and purchase copies of their books.
Local authors who wish to participate in the author expo should sign up online at wichitalibrary.org/local-author-day. The event will be held at the Advanced Learning Library, 711 W. 2nd St.
