Britt Reid, a former Chiefs coach and the son of Andy Reid, is expected to plead guilty to charges stemming from a DUI crash that injured a 5 year old girl.

The crash happened on February 4th of last year, leaving 5-year-old Ariel Young with critical injuries. A 4-year-old child also sustained injuries in the crash that were not considered life threatening.

Court records indicate that Reid will enter his guilty plea on Monday, September 12th.

Ariel Young suffered a traumatic brain injury and spent several weeks in the hospital.

Officials with the Kansas City Chiefs announced in November they had reached and agreement with Young’s family on a care plan.
