Kansas Humane Society (KHS) in partnership with Best Friends Animal Society has announced its “Bring Home Happiness National Adoption Weekend.”
The organization said that it, along with neighboring Wichita Animal Shelter, are at maximum capacity. KHS currently has 160 pets currently available for adoption and an additional 364 pets in their care.
The event has $25 adoption fees for adult dogs (6 months +) and kittens (under 1 year). Included with adoption is spay/neuter, microchip and age appropriate vaccinations.
It will be held at the Kansas Humane Society (3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, KS 67219) on Friday, September 16 through Sunday, September 18.
