A Wichita man has pleaded guilty to second degree murder charges in the deaths of two teenagers in 2021.
24-year-old Dontenize Kelly was in Sedgwick County District Court on Friday to enter the pleas, and his sentencing was scheduled for November 18th.
Kelly was arrested for the February, 2021 deaths of 17-year-old Michael Beasly and 18-year-old Kaylah Blackmon. Police found Beasly’s body on February 1st, 2021 outside a vacant church building. They began searching for Blackmon, Beasly’s girlfriend, and she was found dead in her SUV three days later at an apartment complex near 27th Street South and McLean.
