Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, in cooperation with Senior Services of Wichita, is hosting a job fair for Veterans on Thursday, October 13th. While Veterans will have priority during the event, the job fair is open to everyone.
Job opportunities will be available in a several industries, including manufacturing, sales, marketing, web design, and accounting, among others. The event takes place 1-4 p.m. at Senior Services of Wichita, 200 S. Walnut St.
You should bring copies of your resume, a list of references, and be prepared for immediate interviews.
Veteran Community Partnerships is also hosting a drive-thru resource fair for Veterans, spouses, caregivers, and military members on Friday, October 14th at the Sedgwick County Extension Office (7001 w. 21st St.) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Those attending can take the opportunity to speak with and get information from 42 different vendors, including agencies from City of Wichita, Sedgwick County, and the State of Kansas. Health care agencies, VA services, and other Veteran-related service providers will be present. Dole VA will also be providing flu shots for qualified Veterans.
Those attending are asked to use the Ridge Road entrance to access the event.
