Crime Stoppers of Garden City/Finney County increased the reward for a 2019 homicide.
Ernie Ortiz was found shot outside of his family restaurant and died from his injuries at a hospital. Authorities believe that Ortiz was shot during a robbery after closing his business for the evening. No suspect was apprehended.
Information that may lead to an arrest is now eligible for a reward of $21,500. The reward has increased over the last 3 years.
