Fire and EMS crews were sent to a store in Kiowa, Kansas early Sunday afternoon on a report of a possible gas leak.
Shoppers inside a Family Dollar/Dollar Tree store began having shortness of breath and headaches inside the store. Five people were taken to a hospital, where they were treated and released.
The store was closed and investigators are working to find out what caused the problem.
