The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a Wichita man was found dead in a south side neighborhood.
Deputies were called to the 4200 block of South Clifton just after 11:30 p.m. Saturday, and they found 24-year-old Evan Harrison in the street with a gunshot wound. Several bystanders were providing medical aid to Harrison when deputies arrived. He was taken to a hospital where he died later.
The Sheriff’s Office is looking for anyone who may have information on the shooting, as well as anyone who may have had contact with Harrison before the shooting took place. Information can be provided to Sheriff Investigations at 316-660-5300 or through Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
