A Wichita police officer and two other people were hurt when the officer’s patrol car collided with another vehicle during a chase early Sunday.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the 32-year-old officer was chasing a car on westbound Kellogg near Greenwich Road around 2:30 a.m.  The patrol car collided with a northbound car at the Greenwich Road intersection.

A Wichita man and an Augusta woman in the car, both age 22, were taken to a hospital along with the officer and they all had serious injuries.

KHP troopers are still investigating the crash.
