A teenager is recovering after being shot in north Wichita Thursday night.
Police said there was some kind of gathering at a home near 23rd and Market, and an argument broke out. Shots were fired and police were called to the area around 9:30 p.m. A 16-year-old boy from Texas was found with several gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital with critical but non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators found at least 18 shots were fired, from two or three different guns.
