Sports retailer Scheels is opening its Wichita location on Saturday, July 1st at Towne East Square.
The company announced it is hosting a parking lot celebration for the public Saturday morning.
The parking lot celebration begins at 7:00 a.m. and includes prize drawings, live music, food trucks, and more.
A full event schedule is detailed below.
Sat. July 1st Grand Opening details:
- 7:00 a.m.: Parking Lot Celebration Begins. Major giveaways and prize drawings, live music, food trucks, activities, appearance from Kansas City Chiefs Kingdom Cruiser, and much more Prize winners announced every 20 minutes until 9 a.m.
- 8:00 a.m.: Live Entertainment Appearances. Live entertainment from Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders, Rumble Drumline, and KC Wolf
- 8:45 a.m.: Ribbon Cutting Ceremony & Program. Store and community leaders will cut ribbon in front of main entrance
- 9:00 a.m.: Location Opens to Public
