Craig Morgan Morgan enlisted in and was sworn into the U.S. Army Reserve LIVE on the Opry stage as part of their Saturday night show. He is no stranger to service. He was in the Army and Army reserve with the with the 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions as an E-6 Staff Sergeant and Fire Support Specialist. His certifications also include Air Assault and Rappel Master.
He’s not going to quit music. He’ll continue to tour and record new music. “I’m excited to once again serve my country and be all I can be in hopes of encouraging others to be a part of something greater than ourselves.” Joining again at age 59, he will hold the rank of Staff Sergeant and Warrant Officer.
