Wichita residents charged in separate cases for fentanyl, meth trafficking

Three Wichita residents were indicted in separate cases this week for trafficking meth and fentanyl.

A federal grand jury in Wichita returned an indictment charging a Wichita woman for drug trafficking offenses between April 2023 and May 2023. 48-year-old Mana E. Reyes is charged with two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, one count of distribution of fentanyl, and one count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Meanwhile, 30-year-old Regan Riner, of Wichita, was indicted on two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, two counts of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The DEA and the ATF are investigating the case.

Lastly, 40-year-old Abram Velo, of Wichita, was indicted on one count of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, one count of possession of fentanyl with intent to distribute, one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and one count of possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime. The Drug Enforcement Administration and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives are investigating this case as well.
