A Kingman couple ended up in a Wichita hospital after their motorcycle collided with a pickup truck in Kingman County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash was reported Thursday evening near N.E. 150th Avenue and U.S. Highway 54, about 15 miles east of Kingman.  A Harley-Davidson motorcycle was traveling west when it sideswiped the left side of a pickup that was stopped on the shoulder and had pulled into the lane of traffic.

The motorcycle rider, 65-year-old Brian Kersting, and a passenger, 66-year-old Melinda Kersting, both ot Cheney, were taken to a Wichita hospital with serious injuries.  The 38-year-old Kingman man in the pickup was not hurt.
