An unidentified driver was critically injured early Sunday when a vehicle went out of control and crashed into several signs before hitting a tree in northeast Wichita.
The crash was reported around 5 a.m. at 37th Street North and Toben, which is on 37th between Rock Road and Webb Road.
The driver was pinned and had to be freed by rescue crews. Police are looking into the possibility that a medical condition might have caused the crash.
The name of the driver has not been released.
