Police arrested a 30-year-old Wichita man in connection with a rape investigation, and they said the man had been out on bail in a previous rape case.
Officers were called to a local hospital on Thursday to get information on a reported sexual assault that occurred at a location on East MacArthur, and they learned that a suspect had been identified. The man was found and quickly arrested.
Police said the man was arrested in an earlier case on July 28th, and he had been released on bail with GPS monitoring. Information on the new case will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office.
