A motorcyclist was injured in a crash while fleeing from police in Geary County over the weekend.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said a 23-year-old man from Junction City was headed westbound on Ash Street and fleeing from law enforcement on Saturday night when he took a curve in the road too fast and crashed into a utility junction box.
The rider was thrown from the bike in the crash, and he was taken to a hospital with possible serious injuries.
