The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office is releasing the details of a months-long investigation.
Undersheriff Brian White said the investigation began in February with a report of two deputies pointing their loaded guns at each other. During the investigation, they discovered that a supervisor was accused of making racist and inappropriate comments as well as another deputy who created a fake 9-1-1 call because she didn’t want to go to a car stop that another deputy was at.
As a result of the investigation, two deputies were fired and a third resigned.
