A Wichita man has pleaded guilty to sexual assaults on three patients at a local hospital in June.
28-year-old Miguel Rodela entered guilty pleas to rape, two counts of attempted rape and two misdemeanor counts of battery.
Rodela was arrested after the assaults were reported June 15th at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis hospital. Rodela was accused of posing as a nursing student and gaining access to patients on three different floors.
Three lawsuits have been filed against the hospital, alleging that a lack of security led to the assaults.
