UPDATE: Wichita police have arrested a 30-year-old man for a hit-and-run incident that happened Sunday evening.
Police said a bicyclist was hit around 7 Sunday evening at McCormick and Meridian. The rider was taken to a hospital and at last report was in critical but stable condition.
The car left the scene, but the driver later returned and was taken into custody for felony hit-and-run, failure to yield to a pedestrian, and no driver’s license. Information will be presented to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office for the filing of charges.
