The Kansas Bureau of Investigation is working with Labette County officials after a weekend homicide.
The KBI said someone called 911 around 2:30 Sunday afternoon after a woman’s body was found in a field. The body was found near the intersection of 20000 Road and Ness Road in rural Labette County. She was later identified as 28-year-old Kylie Caldwell of Parsons, and she was last seen Sunday morning.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the KBI at 1-800-KS-CRIME or the Labette County Sheriff’s Office at 620-795-2565.
No other details have been released on the investigation.
