The Sedgwick County Treasurer’s Office will be opening a tag and tax office in Derby.
The office will open October 2nd in the Derby Driver’s License Office at 620 North Rock Road. Sedgwick County residents will be able to pay their real estate or property taxes, apply for a handicap placard and license plate, renew a vehicle tag or have title work done.
The tag office closed in 2018, but County Treasurer Brandi Baily said there have been a number of requests to reopen it. She said budgetary limits won’t allow for a satellite office but she has teamed up with neighboring agencies to provide services. Baily said with partnerships like this, there are plans to expand services to more Sedgwick County communities in the future.
The Derby tag ofice will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays each week. Customers will have to make an appointment and they will be limited to two titles per appointment. Appointments can be made through the link https://kiosk.us.qless.com/kiosk/app/home/5100000293
