The Veterans Administration and partner organizations will have their annual drive-through resource fair for Veterans in Wichita.
The event will be held Friday, October 6th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Sedgwick County Extension Office at 21st and Ridge Road.
The event is sponsored by Veteran Community Partnerships, a group of organizations supporting veterans and veterans programs. There will be more than 50 different vendors and VA services, with agencies from the City of Wichita, Sedgwick County, and the State of Kansas. The Dole VA Medical Center will be providing flu shots for qualified veterans.
The resource fair has drawn hundreds of people in past years and it has helped a number of veterans with enrollment in health care and pension benefits.
