An unidentified man was taken into custody after a standoff Friday at an east Wichita home.
Police were called to the 200 block of South Poplar around 10 a.m. on a report of a man swinging a machete and making threats. He then locked himself inside a home with a woman and a two-month-old baby.
A SWAT team was called to the scene and they were able to get the man out. No one was injured.
