A Haysville woman has been sentenced to prison for the death of a Wichita man whose body was later found in rural Sumner County.
20-year-old Tehya Turner was sentenced in Sedgwick County District Court to more than 11-years in prison for second-degree murder and burglary in the death of 41-year-old Brent Boone.
Authorities said Boone was last seen on November 24th, 2022 at his home in the 1300 block of North Pershing before leaving in a car with Turner and another suspect, 32-year-old Saul Valenciana. A jury convicted Valenciana of first-degree murder in June, and he is now in the El Dorado Correctional Facility.
