One person died and four others were injured in a crash Sunday evening in western Sedgwick County.
Deputies said a car and an SUV collided around 7 p.m. at 21st Street North and 391st Street West, southeast of Cheney Lake.
The driver of the car and a passenger were taken to a hospital, and the passenger later died. She was identified as 22-year-old Pratiksha Kunwar. The driver, 22-year-old foreign exchange student Varun Aithagoni, was in serious condition.
Three people in the SUV, a 36-year-old Cheney man and two children ages 2 and 3, had minor injuries.
The crash is under investigation.
