Botanica The Wichita Gardens will have its first annual holiday tree lighting event on Friday.
The First Annual Tree Lighting will take place from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a 62-foot MEGA Christmas Tree. The tree is programmed with images and set to holiday music and it’s one of the largest branched tree displays in the Midwest region. The actual tree lighting will take place at 7 p.m.
The event will also allow visitors to see the annual Illuminations display for the first time. The display officially opens on November 24th and runs through December 30th.
Admission to the tree lighting ceremony is $35 for non-member adults and $32 for members, $16 for ages 3-12 and free for children 2 and under.
