A fire destroyed a home in a southeast Wichita neighborhood Thursday evening.
The fire was reported shortly after 6 p.m. in the 5300 block of East Castle Drive, southeast of the intersection of Lincoln and Woodlawn, and crews saw flames coming from the front of the home when they arrived.
No one was hurt, and the home is expected to be declared a total loss. The cause is under investigation.
