A three-year-old girl was abducted at gunpoint from her home in Fort Riley on Friday afternoon, but she was later found safe in Butler County and two suspects were arrested.
Police said Paisley Thompson was taken from her mother around 2 p.m. by a man and woman at a home in Fort Riley. An AMBER Alert was issued in Kansas because it was believed the child was in danger, and police were looking for an orange BMW.
At around 5:40 p.m. the Kansas Bureau of Investigation was notified that the child was found safe in Butler County. A 24-year-old man and a 41-year-old woman were arrested. The AMBER Alert was canceled and no other details were provided on the arrest.
