The City of Wichita has scheduled open houses for 11 units of public housing that are being put up for sale.

The city has been selling homes to restructure its public housing stock, and a group of 37 homes has been approved for sale by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.

The open houses have been scheduled for Sundays and Tuesdays though January and February:

·                     2-4 p.m. Sunday, January 21

·                     3-5 p.m. Tuesday, January 23

·                     2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 4

·                     3-5 p.m. Tuesday, February 6

·                     2-4 p.m. Sunday, February 25

·                     3-5 p.m. Tuesday, February 27

The open houses on January 21st and 23rd will involve the following single-family homes:

·                  2229 E 53rd Street South

·                  2236 E 53rd Street South

·                  5224 S Hydraulic

·                  1714 E Idlewild Drive

·                  4712 Ellis South

·                  1213 E Selma

·                  546 S Richmond

·                  450 N Acadia

·                  991 N Robin

The city said offers will be reviewed on a regular basis between open houses.
