A GoFundMe account has been set up for the family of 14-year-old Claude Hodges, Jr, who died in a standoff at a west Wichita apartment complex on Monday.
Claude was found dead in the bedroom of an apartment in the 8400 block of West Central after his 43-year-old mother, Kylee Hodges, was involved in a standoff with police. Kylee Hodges was shot by an officer and was in critical condition in a hospital. Police believe Claude had been shot by his mother.
Claude was a freshman wrestling team at Northwest High School.
