Wichita fire investigators say the man who was injured in an east side apartment fire has died.
The fire was reported around 4:30 a.m. Thursday at the Horizons East Apartments at Central and Rock Road. Crews found the fire in one apartment unit and it had consumed all available oxygen. Crews got the fire out and they removed an unidentified man from the apartment. He was taken to a hospital where he later died. His name has not been released.
Investigators are continuing to look into the cause of the fire.
