A Wichita man is headed to prison for the shooting death of a teenage girl.
A Sedgwick County judge sentenced 19-year-old Kayden Wilson to more than 12 years in prison for second-degree murder, aggravated assault and firearms charges for the death of 16-year-old Azuri Jones.
Wichita police responded to reports of gunfire and vehicles chasing each other near 15th Street North and Belmont on September 23rd, 2021, and they learned that Jones had been taken to a hospital where she died from her injuries.
