A Wichita man was killed Wednesday when his motorcycle collided with a vehicle at a southeast Wichita intersection.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office said the motorcycle was going east on MacArthur just before noon when it collided with a Hummer turning into a parking lot at Oliver.
The motorcycle rider, 19-year-old Tayvon Starr, was dead at the scene. Two people in the Hummer were not injured.
Deputies had the intersection closed for much of the afternoon while the crash was under investigation.
