Police are looking into a fatal shooting that happened early Tuesday in south Wichita
Officers were called to the 100 block of South Market around 5:15 a.m. on a report of a shooting, but they did not find a scene or a victim. They were then sent to the 900 block where a 35-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound. The man was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead shortly after 6 a.m.
