The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued an emergency suspension order for a group day care home in Derby.
The order suspends the license for TNT Childcare at 708 North Sumac Road. KDHE said the order listed concerns over sanitation at the home, including improper disposal of waste from a potty chair, diapering and toileting procedures not being followed, and a pet area not being maintained in a sanitary manner.
The order cited other violations including a failure to provide all identifying information needed for background checks for people working, volunteering, or living at the facility.
