Police have identified the victim of a shooting that happened in a south Wichita neighborhood, and they said they have been looking for a second person in connection with the case.
Officers found 35-year-old Ladonte Ostrander in the 900 block of South Market after a shooting that was reported around 5:15 a.m. on January 16th. Ostrander was taken to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
Police arrested a 37-year-old suspect in the shooting, and they are looking for another person who may have information or may have involvement. Anyone with information is urged to contact investigators at 268-4407, Crime Stoppers at 267-2111 or the See Something Say Something hotline at 519-2282.
