A man who stole an SUV with a six-year-old girl inside from a Wichita parking lot is headed to prison.
A judge has sentenced 35-year-old Benjamin Brady to nearly five years in prison after he previously pleaded guilty to attempted kidnapping and felony theft.
The incident took place on November 20th, 2022, when Brady stole an SUV from a parking lot near 21st and Amidon and fled to Oklahoma, where he was taken into custody. The girl was not injured in the incident.
