The Wichita school district has scheduled parent listening sessions to get feedback and answer questions about a plan to close six schools.
The Board of Education is scheduled to vote in March on a plan to close Clark, Cleveland Magnet, Park and Payne elementary schools and Hadley and Jardine middle schools.
The listening sessions will be held at 5:30 p.m.
- Feb. 22, West High School, 820 S. Osage, focus on Cleaveland and Payne
- Feb. 26, AMAC Administrative Center, 903 S. Edgemoor, focus on Clark and Jardine
The Board will also have a public hearing February 29th at 6 p.m. at the Alvin Morris Administrative Center at 903 South Edgemoor. The Board will vote on the school closure plan at its March 4th meeting.
